Hi, my name is Carmela and I’m the face behind Beading of My Heart.

I've been designing and handcrafting unique and one-of-a-kind jewellery since 2007. For the last 6 years I've had the opportunity to make some very special pieces for weddings, communions and birthdays. I've been a vendor at various craft shows, done home parties and children’s parties.

Beading of My Heart offers Kid’s Birthday Beading Parties for various age ranges.

We are located in Brampton, Ontario and travel throughout the GTA (Brampton, Mississauga, Bolton, Etobicoke, North York, Toronto, Georgetown, Milton, Richmond Hill, Guelph and more). Please contact us to confirm we service your area. A distance premium may apply at a rate of $0.40/km.

Kids Birthday Beading Parties are exciting for the kids as well as for myself. I enjoy passing on my knowledge to the children and seeing the excitement on their faces when they have completed their projects.

Kid’s Birthday Beading Parties offer the following:

When we begin, the children will be instructed how to design and string beads and what beads are available to them. I will guide the children through the basics and help them make their own unique and custom piece of jewellery. Children will be able to choose their favourite beads from a variety of acrylic, glass, wood, bone beads and semi-precious stones in a variety of colours. All findings are Nickel and Lead FREE.

Birthday beading parties are for children ages 5 – 16.

A minimum of 5 children is required.

Each party is 75 - 90 minutes long.

Children will go home with one clasped necklace (I will add the clasps to each necklace) and 1 other item as time permits (rings, bracelets, key chains or anklets).

Pricing is as follows:

Ages 5 - 9
5 children minimum $22.00/child
6-9 children $21.00/child
10+ children $20.00/child

Ages 10 – 16
5 children minimum $24.00/child
6-9 children $23.00/child
10+ children $22.00/child

Your package also includes a .pdf file of the Bead Party Invitation which you can print out and distribute. I will customize accordingly (the birthday girl’s name, address, RSVP and phone number).

To reserve your date, please call or email us as soon as possible. It is always a good idea to have 2-3 dates in mind so you will not be disappointed.

Once your date is booked, a $50.00 deposit is required payable by Cash, Email Money Transfer or PayPal. Deposits are non-refundable as your date and time will be blocked off specifically for you. Your $50.00 deposit will be credited to your final bill payable at the party.

Q: How long are the parties?
A: Kids Birthday Beading Parties last from 75-90 minutes depending on how many children attend.

Q: How long will it take to set up and take down?
A: Set up and Take down requires approximately 20 minutes each.

Q: How much space is required?
A: A large dining room or kitchen table that can accommodate the party guests is ideal. A separate work area for me is also required so that I can complete items for the children.

Q: When should I serve food and beverages?
A: Preferably before or after the beading party. We ask that there is no food or drink on the beading tables.

Q: What form of payments do you accept?
A: I accept Cash, Email Money Transfer or PayPal payments.

Q: I have boys attending the birthday party; do you have something they can make?
A: Yes! Boys will have the chance to make 2 key chains.
